Port Coquitlam Needs Your Vote! We are looking for your support in moving Port Coquitlam to the top of the standings of the Gamestown 2010 contest. Top prize is $100,000 so we need your vote for our community. Click on the link in the bottom of this page and vote for Port Coquitlam. Port Coquitlam is in the population category 25,000-100,000. What is Gamestown 2010? It starts with your story... Are you a contender? Communities across BC are sharing their stories and showing us and the world their Olympic and Paralympic Games spirit through sport, healthy living, and environmental sustainability. 124 communities are officially in the running for the title of GamesTown 2010 where every story and vote counts! The week’s GamesTown 2010 community standings are posted! Since the standings were made available last week, the votes have been piling up, and a few communities have taken over the top spots in their respective population categories. How Do I Cast My Vote? Click Here to cast your vote and see the latest standings (updated weekly). Reminder: When the polls close on January 4th, the Top 10 communities (2 from each of the 5 population categories) will move on to the Celebrity Judging Panel round. The poco boys pose proudly after winning Silver, at the 2009 National Championships.
As members of Pee Wee Team BC. players were selected from all over BC to compete in the National Championships in Ontario. They lost a heartbreaker to the host team and came home with Silver. Our association is proud of these boys, and look to watch their future careers.
