Field Registration
The PCMLA is excited to announce the opening of registration for the 2026 Field Lacrosse season!!
Residency rules are set by the BCLA and must be followed by all minor associations.
You must be a resident of Port Coquitlam or live within the boundaries of Port Moody Minor Lacrosse.
GENERAL REGISTRATION INFORMATION
First Time Players
You are required to follow up your registration with copies of the player's birth certificate and proof of Port Coquitlam residency (i.e. a copy of hydro bill, cable bill, tax notice).
These must be forwarded to the registrar, they can be uploaded to the registration system or scanned and emailed, registration will not be considered complete without them.
You will be required by the online system to pay the full fee for your division. Once your child is placed on a team and the season starts, we will initiate a refund for the difference.
Returning Players that have moved
Returning players who have moved but played field lacrosse for two or more consecutive years with PCMLA can be grandfathered.
Please keep in mind the following: Grandfathering does not apply to siblings. Box and field are considered different sports, separate grandfathering rules apply.
Released players' years played with PCMLA do not count toward grandfathering.
Jersey Deposits
All players are required to supply us with a jersey deposit cheque.
All jersey deposits are $100.00 and must be postdated to March 1, of next year. We will be diligent in ensuring we have these cheques before any games being played.
At the end of the season, once the jersey has been returned, we will destroy the deposit cheque.
Receipts
Please refer to the confirmation email you received after online registration; this is your receipt.
Kidsport/Jumpstart/A4K
You are responsible for applying for a subsidy through these programs.
You can register for lacrosse online and indicate that payment is to be made through the sponsorship payment plan.
We will follow up to ensure you have applied; failure to do so may affect a player’s eligibility to play. No registration is complete without payment or proof of sponsorship application.
Team Practice and Game Times
Most practices are on Tuesday evening.
Coed games are generally played on Sunday, and female divisions play on Saturday.
Please be aware that your coach may schedule additional practices or regular practice times at his/her discretion, and some associations will play games on alternate days if they have field time.
