Field Registration
2026-2027 Field Lacrosse Registration is Now Open!
Players must Live in Port Coquitlam or live within the boundaries of the Port Moody Minor Lacrosse Association.
Proof of residency is required.
If your child is registering with PCMLA for the first time, you must provide:
- Birth certificate
- Proof of residency (hydro bill, cable bill, property tax notice, etc.)
- Proof of school enrollment may also be required
Documents can be uploaded during registration or emailed to the Registrar.
Registration is not complete until all required documents have been received.
Players who have moved outside the association boundaries may still be eligible to play with PCMLA if they have played field lacrosse with PCMLA for at least two consecutive years.
Please note:
- Grandfathering does not apply to siblings.
- Box and field lacrosse are considered separate sports.
- Time played as a released player does not count toward grandfathering eligibility.
Jersey Deposits
All players must provide a $100 jersey deposit cheque.
Requirements:
- Cheque must be post-dated to March 1, 2027.
- Jersey deposit cheques must be received before players participate in games.
Once the jersey is returned at the end of the season, the cheque will be destroyed.
Receipts
Your registration confirmation email serves as your receipt.
KidSport, Jumpstart, and Athletics 4 Kids (A4K)
Families applying for financial assistance must:
- Apply directly to the subsidy program.
- Register online and select the sponsorship payment option.
Registration is not complete until payment is received or proof of application has been provided. Failure to apply after selecting sponsorship may affect a player's eligibility to
participate.
Registration Discounts
New Player Discount
New players in U11 and older divisions will receive a $50 discount.
Goalie Discount
Full-time goalies in U11 and older divisions receive 50% off registration fees.
Family Discount
Families with three or more registered players receive:
- 50% off the registration fee for the third and each additional child.
- The discount is applied to the youngest player's registration.
Please register and pay normally. Eligible discounts will be refunded once teams are
formed and the season begins.
Tier 1 Tryouts
Players wishing to be considered for a Tier 1 team must attend tryouts.
- Tryout fee: $75, you must select the tryout option during registration.
- Please ensure your player is available. Tryouts will begin in late August.
Practices and Games
Typical schedules are:
- Practices: May be Tuesday or Thursday evenings
- Male/Coed games: Sundays
- Female games: Saturdays
Coaches may schedule additional practices, and associations may play games on other days, depending on field availability.
