Application for New Referees and Umpires Now Open:
- The application process to become a referee or umpire for the 2021/2022 season is now open.
- Boys field lacrosse referees must be 13 years old by December 31, 2021
- Girls field lacrosse umpires must be 14 years old by December 31, 2021
- All applicants must be a resident of Port Coquitlam.
- Requests to become a new official MUST be submitted by Tuesday, Sept. 10. No more requests will be considered after that time.
- Complete the allocation form below and once it has been submitted it will be reviewed and a limited number of officials for both boys and girls field lacrosse will be selected.
- Due to the limited number of teams only a limited amount of new officials will be selected.

Returning Officials Level 1& 2
- Your Head Ref will notify you by email in regards to 2020 Box Lacrosse Officials clinic information once it is made available
- We will require your Full Name, Email, Clinic Date you can Attend & Clinic Level
- Please note that new Jerseys can be purchased for $25.00 – please notify the Referee Allocator and provide payment before your scheduled Clinic Date
Officials are not to register for a clinic directly with BCLA; it must be done through PoCo Minor Lacrosse if you want to be assigned games through our association.
Returning Officials Level 3-5
- Officials will be invited to a Level 3 – 5 clinic directly by the BC Senior Officials Association
- If you are a Level 2 Official wanting to become a Level 3-5 Official, please notify your Head Ref so we can ensure proper evaluations are done throughout the season to assist with this process.
